HERITAGE TOURS WITH KÖME

KÖME Heritage Tours

Are you interested in outstanding sites of cultural and natural heritage near Budapest, along the Danube? Do you want to discover them from the point of view of a heritage manager?

The Association of Cultural Heritage Managers (KÖME) invites you for one-day heritage tours to the following sites:

– October 9, 2014: Visegrád – Royal Palast and Franciscan monastery
– October 11, 2014: Komárom – Fort Monostor

Professionals from the sites will introduce us into the work, the structure and the presentation strategies of the given site as well as into future development plans.
We will get first-hand informations on how a fortress museum works in Hungary, how to develop presentation concepts for an archaeological site, and of course, how the beautiful Danube landscape can become part of the interpretation of cultural heritage.
