Adobe-Straw Construction Camp

In Fülöp Goatfarm near the ruins of a medieval church and glass factory we have been renewing the community house that is used by Cultural Heritage Studies Program of  Central European University (CEU) and KÖME (Association of Cultural Heritage Managers). We started the work of this season with a four day long construction camp where we and our enthusiastic volunteers made adobe base render on straw insulation. Those who came could move in fresh air, enjoy the nature, experience the joy of building together and serve a good aim besides getting familiar with the eco-friendly ways of building with the professional guidance of Sárkollektíva!
