Game testing and planning of a digital application organized by KÖME, Pro Progressione and Matrica Museum Százhalombatta in the frame of the Autumn Festival of Museums
This summer an international cooperation has been launched aiming to develop digital technology based interpretation tools for archaeological parks along the Danube. Cooperating partners are Pro Progressione, as well as Matrica Museum Százhalombatta, Lepenski Vir, Muzej vučedolske kulture / Vučedol culture museum, the Iron Gates Region Museum and University of Sounthhampton.
On 26 October we open the demo version of the theatre adventure game for testing. We are avaiting heritage professionals, educators and people interested in interpretation for a common brainstorming around the questions of heritage interpretation with digital tools.
Main questions of the day:
– How to use digital technology in a way that it doesn’t become competitor of materiality and physicality but complement them in a meaningful way
– What pedagogical goals can a theatrical/performative game using digital technology serve?
– Theatre game into digital app? Challenges, pitfalls and sustainability of adaptation
